Mobile Marketing

The buzz is all about video on mobile. There are a lot of big-dollar advertising campaigns out there right now trying to convince you that watching high-definition movies and sporting events on the small screen anytime, anywhere is why people buy smartphones and data plans .

But the reality is that “killing time” is not the most popular web use of a mobile device. Finding goods and services quickly and easily and engaging in social networks are more popular smartphone uses. And while it’s true that the smartphone to regular mobile device ratio is climbing daily, neither of those smartphone uses are going to overtake the number one mobile device use – texting – this month.

There are three ways I help clients mobilize their marketing efforts:

  • QR Codes: Bridge the offline and online worlds with Quick Response (QR) Codes. In addition to setting up campaign links using QR codes for clients, and consulting others on their use, I offer a completely free tool to create codes (please, help yourself!).
